Ways To Get Rid Of Your Old Biker T-Shirts | Shopping And Product ...

It goes without saying that many of our beloved biker friends will be getting a few new T-shirts under the Christmas tree this year. In fact, I might get a few myself. But that begs the question of what to do with all the old biker T-shirts that have since worn out. Putting them in the trash or a charity bag seems like a common choice or I could even use them as rags. But it seems like there?s something more I could do to keep them in circulation a little longer.

?

Here are a few suggestions:

?

1. Pajamas for the Kids It won?t matter if the artwork has faded a little bit because you can still use the t-shirt. Biker T-shirts make great pajamas for two and three-year-olds, provider they are 4XLs of course!

?

2. Helmet Bags Leaving your helmet attached to your bike may be something you don?t like doing but it can also be a pain to hold it in your hand for a long time. But you could use an old t-shirt as a helmet bag by sewing up the neck and the sleeves. If you?re real creative you can sew a drawstring into the bottom hem and cinch the bag up.

?

3. Oven Mitts It is simple to create a pair of oven mitts from your old t-shirts if you are handy with a sewing machine. All you have to do is cut long strips from the t-shirt and then triple fold one against itself and sew it up. It?s a quick and easy way to get a new set of oven mitts without spending extra money.

?

4. Laundry Bags If you have to do your laundry in a public place you know what a hassle it can be to carry your laundry basket with you. Just like the helmet bag, if you sew up the sleeves and the neck you instantly have a laundry bag. You can wash the bag when you do your clothes so the bag will be clean on the way home.

?

Old biker T-shirts still have plenty of life in them ? so be creative. You may be surprised at what you can use them for!
